The Kano State Hisba Board has declared that preparations are underway for a mass wedding involving at least 2,000 couples, following a directive from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
During a press conference on Thursday, the Deputy Commander-General of the Hisba Board, Sheikh Mujahid Aminudeen, stated that the process will commence with registration and mandatory medical screening for all prospective couples.
“All couples who wish to participate in the wedding must register beforehand,” Sheikh Aminudeen emphasized.
