JACK WILSHERE is reportedly Luton’s top choice for the managerial position.
The former player has been without a club since departing Norwich in the summer.

Wilshere joined Norwich as a first-team coach in October 2024 and managed the final two games of the season as caretaker following the dismissal of Johannes Hoff Thorup, achieving one win and one draw.
He lost out on the managerial role to Liam Manning but is now poised to secure his first permanent position as a manager.
According to the BBC , Wilshere, 33, is the favored candidate to succeed Matt Bloomfield, who was let go this week.
Luton has faced challenges in League One this season, suffering five defeats in their first 11 matches after experiencing back-to-back relegations.
It is understood that the Hatters have also considered Richie Wellens for the role.
However, they seem to be leaning towards Wilshere, who spent over two years managing Arsenal Under-18s after retiring from playing in 2022.
The former player guided the U18s to the final of the 2023 FA Youth Cup, where they finished as runners-up.
That Arsenal squad featured players who have since made their way into the first team.
Wilshere earned 34 England caps and made 197 appearances for Arsenal.
He also had loan spells at Bolton early in his career and later at Bournemouth, and transferred to West Ham from Arsenal in 2018 before returning to the Cherries and finally joining Danish side AGF.
He played under notable coaches such as Fabio Capello and others before retiring at the age of 30 due to injury.
