A PREGNANT woman is among 11 people killed during a horror mass shooting at a home in South Africa.
Gunmen stormed the house in Durban and opened fire on those inside with another three people rushed to hospital after the deadly ambush.
The armed gang forced the victims into a single room before shooting at them and fleeing the scene, according to local television station eNCA.
A car belonging to one of the victims was found engulfed in flames as cops rushed to the grisly murder scene.
spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said initial investigations point towards three male suspects carrying out the attack.
No arrests have been made with a manhunt ongoing.
Thamsanqa Ntuli, the premier of Durban’s KwaZulu-Natal province, added: “The victims, including a pregnant woman, were gathered at a house shortly before 11pm (9pm UK time) when armed assailants reportedly entered the premises and opened fire.”
Those inside were believed to have been together at a party before the shooting.
The motive for the attack remains unclear.
Ntuli added: “The incident has left the community in profound shock and grief.”
Ten of the victims were men, cops confirmed.

Three suspects – a man and two women – were arrested in connection with the death of one of the victims, Jabulile Ntimba.
Jabulile’s half-naked body, wrapped in sheets, was discovered near a road in Dawn Park.
Another five bodies were discovered in or near the town of Kempton Park on the outskirts of Johannesburg.
All of the other victims were found in separate locations between 15 and 21 miles away.
Officials say the victims were aged between 20 and 38, and were all discovered partially clothed.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has vowed that “no stone will be left unturned” in the murder investigations.
