But in a video on her TikTok page , Abbie admitted her had taken aim at her over her size, and left her sobbing in the process.
The influencer, who is 35 weeks pregnant, was “minding my business” as she showered in her house’s wet room as her kids had a bath alongside her.
And as she washed, she noticed her son Jagger “really looking” at her.
“I just splashed their Barbies, and then this is where it went downhill,” she said.
“I’m gonna tear up just thinking about it.
“I literally have tears in my eyes.”
When she splashed her kids, her little boy looked at her, screamed and then exclaimed: “Stop splashing me, whale!”
“I didn’t know he knew what a whale was!” Abbie added.
Checking she’d heard her son correctly, she asked him: “Is Mummy a whale?” to which he replied “Yes!”.
Following Jagger’s description of her, she admitted she keeps “replaying it back in my mind”.
And to make things even worse, it seems the nickname has stuck, as he greeted her with “good morning, whale” when she came downstairs the next morning.
“All my pregnant women that are around toddlers, I am sending you all my love,” she concluded.
“I’m still not okay,” Abbie captioned the video.
The comments section was almost immediately filled with other mums sharing their similar situations, with one writing: “My son called me a Beluga when he saw my double chin.”
“My son called me ‘big mama’ my entire pregnancy,” another added.
“He’d say ‘who’s the biggest mama’.”
How do women's figures change after giving birth?
TO SAY the body changes during pregnancy and childbirth is an understatement.
Throughout the nine months it takes for the body to bring a baby into the world, it goes through some huge physical changes.
Considering how different the body looks during , it’s not surprising that there are some lasting changes.
And it some ways, it never does, Doctor Rachel Ward, a at Woodlands Medical Centre, Derby, said.
1. Wider ribcage and hips
“During pregnancy in order to accommodate a growing baby and prepare for giving birth, our body produces a hormone called relaxin,” she explained.
Relaxin works by increasing the flexibility and movement in our joints and ligaments.
“Many women find that after pregnancy the shape of their pelvis and ribcage remains different,” Dr Rachel said.
It is common to need a different due to a change in chest circumference, the expert said.
“This is a reminder of the changes your body made to accommodate your baby and is nothing to be worried about,” she added.
2. Change in skin colour
During pregnancy, most women experience skin changes as it stretches to accommodate your bump and enlarging breasts.
“It is not uncommon to develop stretch marks.
“Though they will often fade over time and become a shiny pale colour, depending on your skin tone they will not go away completely,” Dr Rachel said.
“Some people do not like the way look but they are an incredibly common change that we see in many people,” she added.
3. A change in breast shape
Breasts increase in size during pregnancy as the breast tissue prepares to produce milk.
And shortly after birth they will start to produce milk and become swollen, Dr Ward explained.
“If you choose to breast feed or not, it is likely that the shape, size and way your breasts look and feel will be different after pregnancy compared to before,” she added.
“This is not a problem but it is important that we do learn what the new normal is for our breasts so we can stay breast aware and pick up and changes that could be cancer.”
“I took my children swimming at 35 weeks pregnant in a green swimsuit… my 2 year old came and patted my belly saying ‘Dah Grinch’,” a third revealed.
“‘What’s in that big belly?’ – asked my son and pointed at me,” someone else commented, adding: “I wasn’t pregnant!”
“Sat down at the dinner table the other night and my daughter decided to tell me how fat I was getting,” another wrote.
“Instant tears and talks about being kind to others.”
