ZACK Polanski has been accused of laughing at the defacing of Winston Churchill’s statue with pro-Palestine graffiti.
The Green Party chief was said to be “amused” when London Assembly members were speaking about the Westminster monument being vandalised.

He and other Green representatives then voted against condemning the graffiti which included “Zionist war criminal” being scrawled on the plinth.
This came as a shock to the rest of the body who assumed the motion would pass with ease.
The with several slogans scrawled on the former PM in red paint including “stop the genocide” and “globalise the intifada”.
Caspar San Giorgio, 38, has since been charged with criminal damage which he denies.
A Downing Street spokesperson condemned the late night attack and said: “It’s obviously a disgrace. It’s completely abhorrent.
“Churchill was a great Briton. This Government will always stand up for our values and the perpetrator must be held to account. We’re glad the police have made an arrest.”
The Greater London Authority (GLA) hoped to vote on a motion to “condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the appalling desecration of the statue”.
At yesterday’s meeting Green Assembly member Zoe Garbett defended direct-action protest as an important part of democracy.
She added: “Rather than worrying about a statue, what should worry us all is the UK’s complicity and continued support for Israel.”
The leader of the City Hall Conservatives, Susan Hall, can then be heard condemning Ms Garbett’s comment.
Footage captures her saying: “you’re laughing, I’m glad Zack that you find this amusing, because actually most of the public will not find this amusing”.
After the meeting, Ms Hall told the Daily Mail: “I always thought of the Greens as the cuddly environmental people that they used to be, but it’s now clear they’re nothing but a danger to us.”
Shadow armed forces minister Mark Francois branded the Greens “Left-wing extremists”.
Speaking to the Express, he said: “Churchill led our country through a war of national survival against Hitler’s Nazi regime.
“To deface his memorial like this is not an act of free speech but an insult to a successful war leader, now endorsed by a party of Left-wing extremists posing as friends of the environment”.
The 12ft bronze statue has now been cleaned with blow torches and paint brushes, and Caspar San Giorgio was charged with £11,970 in criminal damage.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Southwark crown court on March 30.
