British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has snubbed the likes of Lionel Messi and Pele as he names his all-time world XI.
Messi and the late Pele are widely considered as among the top five greatest footballers to ever play the sport.
However, Morgan feels the duo should not get into his all-time XI.
He, however, included the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, alongside Ronaldo Nazario and the late Diego Maradona to lead his attack.
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, Morgan also included Gordon Banks to be in goal post and Cafu, Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini, and Roberto Carlos as his defenders.
“Messi doesn’t even make my all-time World XI,”; Morgan tweeted.
“Assuming peak performance, this is my GOAT team: Banks, Cafu, Baresi, Maldini, Carlos, Zidane, Matthaus, Ronaldinho, Maradona, Cristiano, Ronaldo”;.
