British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has congratulated Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, after they finally got married.

Ronaldo and Georgina tied the knot in a civil ceremony on Tuesday in Cascais, Portugal.

The ceremony was a private and intimate moment attended by their five children.

Ronaldo later shared a photo of the couple’s hands with their wedding bands on Instagram.

The wedding comes 12 months after Georgina announced their engagement on Instagram.

Reacting, Morgan, in a post on X wrote, Congrats to my friends @Cristiano & Georgina on their wedding today in Portugal!

“They’re a great couple, and I wish them a long and happy marriage together. Parabéns!”

Ronaldo and Georgina have five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 9, daughter Alana, 8, daughter Bella, 4, and 16-year-old son Cristiano Junior, whom Ronaldo welcomed in a previous relationship.
