PEPPA Pig fans have claimed the show picked the ‘wrong name’ for the new piglet, after Mummy Pig gave birth.

Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig are already parents to , four, and George, two.
Entertainment Reporter , 55, told how Daddy Pig had informed him of the happy news at 5.30am, shortly before the ITV daytime show hit screens.
He then revealed the little one’s name was Evie, with the adorable character completing the family.
But some fans have said that the piglet has been given the ‘wrong name.’
Some Peppa Pig fans think the name for the little girl piglet should have started with an ‘I.’
This is because Peppa begins with a ‘P,’ and her brother’s name begins with a ‘G’ for George.
So by starting it with an ‘I’ the three children’s names would spell out PIG.
Whereas, because Evie’s name starts with an ‘E’ it spells out PEG.
On social media, one person wrote: “Should have began with an I.”;;
Another penned: “The name should begin with an I so the kids spell out PIG.”;;
Another shared: “Should have been IVY ..... Peppa Ivy George ...”;;
And a fourth person echoed: “Should’ve been Ivy to spell Pig.”;;
Revealing the exciting news this morning, Richard Arnold said: “It brings me great joy to announce she’s here.
“It’s a beautiful thing like I say Daddy Pig has just shared these pictures with me.
