SIX individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, have been apprehended following the tragic discovery of a pensioner found deceased inside her home.
Authorities initiated an investigation into a suspected murder and burglary after the victim was located at a residence in Poole, Dorset, on December 1.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Higher Blandford Road shortly after 4:50 PM in response to reports of the sudden death of a woman.
The death of the 80-year-old remains “unexplained,” prompting a probe after police identified signs of a potential burglary.
After preliminary investigations, five individuals were taken into custody on suspicion of burglary and murder.
A 32-year-old man, a 30-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy, a 22-year-old man, and a 21-year-old man were subsequently released on police bail.
Dorset Police later confirmed an additional arrest, with a 17-year-old also detained on the same charges.
This individual has also been released on bail as inquiries continue.
