A member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has emphasized that the party remains strong despite the internal challenges it is facing.
George made this assertion on Friday during an interview on Politics Today, a program on Channels Television, which was monitored by DAILY POST.
He was addressing the controversy surrounding the party’s National Convention set to take place on November 15 and 16.
DAILY POST reports that Justice Peter Odo Lifu of the Federal High Court in Abuja issued a final order in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In response, George stated, “The majority of the party members recognize that this party is the Iroko political party in Nigeria.
“There is no organization that is free from disagreements or disputes, but the ability of the leaders to confront the truth defines the strength of that organization.
“I want to assure you that the PDP is robust; this party is united.”
