“I would tell everyone in elementary school because I thought it was cool that my parents were siblings,” she recalled.
“It wasn't until about fifth grade that my teacher pulled me aside and said, ‘Um, I don’t think you should be sharing this with others’.”
However, it wasn't until Cameron grew older and accessed the Internet that she realized how “wrong” it truly was.
Despite this, her parents – with whom Cameron has a complicated relationship – are still together and have been known to take pride in their situation.

“I think it’s just because it’s so normalized in my neighborhood.
“I live in a really small town – so we always knew.

Cameron, who also has a brother, added that since her parents do not use social media, they are completely unaware of her TikTok videos.
“They argue constantly,” she shared.
“I don’t really talk to them anymore because, you know, they’re a bit eccentric.
“They live in a trailer park with hamsters everywhere.”
In another clip, Cameron revealed that her mother was working in a diner when her father first came in after a day of hunting.
She explained that they “didn’t know they were related for a long time.”
