The shocking incident is thought to have taken place at Harrow and Wealdstone station in North on Wednesday.

In an astonishing clip, a man refuses to make way for the elderly woman as she clutches the handrail for support.
It begins with the man standing at the top of the stairs blocking her path as she tells him: “I want to come up the stairs.”
But the man responds by asking her not to touch him and telling her he’s recording while she kindly asks him to move again.
He proceeds to tell her “I’m here relaxing” and suggests to the woman that “you can go round”.
She protests that she needs to get past
But the man responds saying she can go round before adding ‘you’ve got legs’
After telling her that he’s recording she snaps back calling him ‘rude and arrogant’
Refusing to move, the woman turns to a man in hi-vis for help
When she informs him that she cannot do so, he retorts: “You can, you’ve got legs.”
The woman hits back saying she’s 80-years-old, to which he appears unbothered and simply says: “So?”
After telling the woman he was recording for the third time, she snaps back: “I don’t give a damn what you’re doing.
“You’re extremely rude and arrogant.”
The footage ends as she pleads for help from another man walking up the stairs in hi-vis, protesting that the man wouldn’t move.
The circumstances around the confrontation remain unclear but the incident has sparked fury on .
One user said on : “Move and help her up the stairs, show some respect!”
Another said: “He should not be blocking the stairs, the rail is there for a reason and all she wants to do is get past. Whatever happened to having respect for your elders?”
“Poor woman. She needs to hold on to the hand rail for stability and doesn’t want to let go,” a third said.
“It would have taken him 2 seconds to move to one side and let her pass! He has zero respect for others!”
Meanwhile on , one user fumed: “Looks like she needed the hand rail to help her. Totally unnecessary aggravation just for social media!”
“She needed that hand rail. This pointless person agitated her for his pathetic content,” added another.
Mark Evers, Transport for London’s lead on Customer Insight, Strategy and Experience, said: “This behaviour is extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable.
“We expect customers travelling on our network to treat each other with respect at all times. Thankfully, this is not a typical reflection of the millions of customer journeys taking place every day.”
