These bills aim to enhance social institutions and foster agricultural development throughout the state.

The approval of the bills was announced in a press statement signed by Olamide Tiamiyu, Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the House, Adewale Egbedun.

According to the statement, “The new law is anticipated to empower farmers and rural communities to sustainably manage irrigation infrastructure, enhance water distribution efficiency, and improve crop yields and food security.”
