‘Osimhen went crazy over news of his departure from Galatasaray’ – Ugur Karakullukçu

Published on June 02, 2025 at 06:56 PM

Galatasaray commentator Ugur Karakullukçu has revealed that Victor Osimhen went crazy over a news story of his departure from the Turkish Super League champions.

According to him, the Nigeria international reportedly cancelled a press conference after reacting furiously to media reports suggesting his imminent exit from Galatasaray.

Speaking on his YouTube channel via habersarikirmizi, Karakullukçu said: “I learned that Osimhen was very angry the other day.

“There was a news story at noon saying ‘He will announce his departure’. When he saw the post, he went crazy, they could hardly contain it.”;

He added, “He got angry at the news that he was leaving. He got angry and cancelled the press conference.

“He was very angry until training, and calmed down a little after training.”;

Osimhen’s current loan deal with Napoli will expire this June.

The 26-year-old joined the Turkish club from Napoli on loan last year.

He is expected to leave Napoli on a permanent transfer this summer for another club.
