Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen has stepped up his recovery from injury, according to the club.
The Nigeria international has been sidelined since limping off the pitch in Napoli’s UEFA Champions League home clash against Liverpool last month.
Osimhen has missed the Partenopei’s last four games across all competitions as a result of the injury.
Ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League matchday three encounters against Ajax, Napoli released an update on their training.
“Morning session for Napoli at SSCN Konami Training Center. Osimhen did custom work in the gym and on the pitch, “reads a statement on the club’s official website.
Meanwhile, manager Luciano Spalletti has named his squad for the game with Osimhen expectedly missing from the list.
Napoli has a hundred percent record in the Champions League this season having won their opening two games against Liverpool and Rangers.
