OMEGA X’s Former Agency Director Forwarded To Prosecution + Current Agency Releases Statement

OMEGA X’s former agency director has been forwarded to the prosecution.

On May 22, the police announced that, on May 7, the Hyehwa Police Station in Seoul forwarded the former director “A”;; of SPIRE Entertainment—OMEGA X’s former agency—to the prosecution without detention.

“A”;;, who is also the wife of SPIRE Entertainment’s CEO, is accused of forcibly molesting six OMEGA X members on charges of indecent by abuse of occupational authority. Previously in August 2023, “A”;; was sued by seven out of the group’s eleven members. The complaint reportedly stated that “A”;; engaged in unwanted physical contact with some members at various locations including during overseas tour stopovers in 2022 and in the agency’s meeting room in Seoul.

Following the news, OMEGA X’s agency IPQ released an official statement, also revealing that charges of “tampering”;; raised by SPIRE have officially been acquitted.

OMEGA X, who debuted in 2021, has been in conflict with their former agency SPIRE Entertainment since November 2022. After the court accepted the members’ request for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts in January 2023, the group with a new agency, IPQ.
