Lawal subsequently proposed its adoption, which was seconded by the Minority Leader, Lukman Adeleye, and received unanimous support from all lawmakers through a voice vote during the plenary session chaired by Speaker Oludaisi Elemide on Tuesday.

Speaker Oludaisi Elemide subsequently instructed that a clean copy of the bill be sent to Governor Dapo Abiodun for his approval.
