Experience The Odyssey for Only 99p: Stephen Fry Narrates Amid Film’s Box Office Triumph!

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has surpassed $700 million at the global box office since its release in the UK on 17 July, and many have come out of the cinema wanting to know the epic story in full.

Audible has an offer running making that affordable to achieve.

Fry’s Odyssey is a retelling rather than a translation – the fourth and final volume of the Greek myths series that started with Mythos, and it runs to around 10 hours and 36 minutes.

He reads it himself, which is really the selling point of the audiobook.

It’s chatty, digressive and frequently very funny, though purists should know how far it strays from the poem.

If you want Homer proper, the Robert Fagles translation read by Ian McKellen is on Audible too, and a credit covers that just as well.
