IT will be the moment of the year when Noel and Liam Gallagher step out on the red carpet for their Oasis documentary next month.

Now I can reveal has been invited to the Don’t Look Back In Anger premiere on September 7.

It would mean the Prime Minister — who has called one of his favourite bands — would be part of the star-studded event for in London’s Leicester Square.

A source said: “Burnham is a big fan of Oasis and attending the premiere would be the icing on the cake of his year.

“He loved it when and took over Manchester for the record-breaking Live ’25 gigs last year.

“Burnham has also been speaking about his Britpop music taste on and this would be the perfect opportunity for social media content.”

Burnham was the Mayor of Greater Manchester when the Wonderwall hitmakers played five nights at Heaton Park in their home city last year for their Live ’25 Tour.

Speaking about the concerts, he said: “This is the day that Manchester has been waiting for. I’ve had a bit of contact with Noel in recent times; they’re both brilliant, actually.

“Noel helped us out when we were raising funds for as part of [former captain] Vincent Kompany’s testimonial year.

“And Liam helped us out last year — he did the announcements on our trams to support a new music conference we have got in the city, Beyond The Music.

“I am just so pleased to see them back together. I never got to see them back in the day.

“I have seen them both individually but never seen them together.”

Burnham also posed with Noel at The Brit Awards, held in Manchester for the first time this year at the Live arena.

He also attended the Silver Clef Awards at London’s Royal Albert Hall last month to present a gong to Manchester band James.

In a recent TikTok video, the PM put Oasis at number one when asked to “blind-list” his favourite bands, which included The Smiths and Wolf Alice.

Earlier this year, Oasis granted Burnham permission to use their 1995 hit Some Might Say in a campaign video on his way to victory in the Makerfield by-election.

Burnham’s appearance at the premiere would be reminiscent of the “Cool Britannia” era under in the late Nineties when Noel attended a drinks reception at 10 Downing Street in 1997 hosted by the then-Prime Minister.

The London-born musician died on July 23, his family wrote in a statement, saying he will be “greatly missed by us and by so many whose lives he touched”.

Madonna hailed Orbit who produced her 1998 album Ray Of Light, as “otherworldly” and “singular” in a lengthy tribute on social media yesterday.

Orbit also worked with girl band All Saints on hits including 2000’s Pure Shores and on their 1999 album 13.

FLO have taken inspiration from female pop stars for their new album.

The R&B group – Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma and Renee Downer – released their second album Therapy At The Club on Friday.

Biz on Sunday caught up with the pop trio, who are set to play Lalala Festival in the Philippines later this month, about going back in the archives for their new 16-track record.

Stella said: “I definitely started listening to a lot more because when we first started making the album we wanted big songs.”

The girls revealed how grateful they are for Ariana Grande’s support.

Jorja said: “We admire her so much. It means a lot to us that she is interested in what we are doing because we love what she loves.”

Renée added: “We’ve had really nice DM interactions and we know when we do meet her it is going to be perfect.”

The girls will be on tour in Asia during Ariana’s London dates this month, but revealed what keeps them going in their dressing room.

Their rider includes Liquid I.V electrolytes, Don Julio tequila and Grey Goose vodka.

Holly quit ITV’s after 14 years in 2023 when undercover US cops found that security guard . He was later jailed for 16 years over the sick plot.

Speaking to The Times this week, Holly said: “I don’t mind getting a bit older.

“For years, I was treated so young. I was constantly undermined and underestimated.”

She also hinted at a return to mainstream TV, adding: “I hope one day, when the time’s right and the project’s right, that I will go back and do some telly stuff – I’m a telly girl, and I love it.”
