BLUNDERING BBC bosses had to remove a video of celebs singing Wonderwall during the World Cup after Oasis intervened.
Some fans who saw the online footage before it was pulled said it was excruciating viewing, with one likening it to a “car crash”.

Until now it had been a mystery why the star-studded clip was deleted, but insiders have confirmed Noel and Liam Gallagher’s legal team demanded its removal.
A host of famous faces including , , and all filmed segments for the clip, inspired by fans singing Wonderwall to the players after their games at the World Cup.
Sport boss Alex Kay-Jelski is said to have fought to save the video before admitting defeat.
A source said: “The BBC dropped an enormous ball with the video as it caused a riot.

“BBC Sport saw and decided to spend a lot of time, and a fair bit of cash, getting all these stars to sing or speak along.
“Their idea was it would go viral but instead Oasis’s legal team shot it down.
“Apparently the BBC didn’t seek the correct permissions to use the song on social media so they didn’t have a leg to stand on.”
It kicked off with singing the 1995 hit, followed by others including , , Sara Cox and Emma Radacanu.

One fan posted: “This might be the worst thing I’ve ever seen.”
Another called it “absolute car crash content”.
A source added: “Given how badly the video went down, the celebs were probably grateful it was pulled.
“But it was a huge waste of time for the BBC and massively embarrassing.”
The BBC refused to comment. Oasis were approached.
