AN American news anchor branded her co-worker a “b***h” after they argued in newly-released footage of a shocking studio clash.

The clip from the Fox 2 Detroit newsroom took place in 2023 and sees the furious anchor, Taryn Asher, having an angry outburst.

Taryn, who was axed this year for “unprofessional behaviour”, is reportedly locked in a legal battle with her employer over workplace discrimination.

The heated exchange begins with the off-camera person, called Trace, questioning what script Taryn is reading from.

Taryn replies: “I’m in Amy’s script. The second thing didn’t make sense so I was just trying to fix that part.”

There’s some back and forth, before Taryn accuses Trace of “walking out really angry”.

She then calls her a “b***h” and adds: “Jeez, oh Pete’s.”

Taryn stands with mouth agape looking stunned, before saying: “Can I please finish what I was going to say? What the f**k. Grow up.”

When a male co-worker approaches her to calm down the situation, she says: “I’m so done with her antics, telling on me every five seconds. I’m done.”

Reports in the US state Taryn was warned for the outburst in December of 2023 and was eventually removed from air last November. In May, she received a letter telling her she had been fired.

The anchor then allegedly filed a lawsuit in June, claiming to be the victim of gender discrimination, and then re-filed it in July.

Taryn last posted on social media six months ago and addressed her absence from Fox 2.

She thanked fans for their support, before writing: “Right now, I’m working to thoughtfully resolve a work-related matter that was unexpected, and I appreciate your patience and understanding as that process continues. I truly believe that, in time, things have a way of becoming clear.

“I’ve also been grateful for the chance to get away and spend meaningful time with my daughter and share special moments with close friends – lots of love and laughter – a reminder of what matters most.

“Thank you for standing by me. Thank you for caring. And thank you for your continued support.”
