Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, has commended his players for showing determination in their victory over FC Robo Queens.
The Amazons defeated FC Robo Queens 4-2 at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.
Nasarawa Amazons finished the first stanza in third position on the Group B table with 18 points from nine matches.
Danjuma assured that the team will improve in the second stanza.
“I feel happy that we picked the three points. It’s crucial for us at this stage. The girls showed determination, unlike our last match in Akure where we lost,” Danjuma told Nasarawa United’s media team.
“We are battle-ready for the second stanza next month. I believe we will improve and put smiles on the faces of our fans and the state at large.”
The second stanza is expected to commence next month.
