A FORMER model who once dined with King Charles has been appointed as Ukraine’s honorary consul to the Dominican Republic.

However, the former glamour model insists she is not ashamed of her raunchy past.
“I did not try to conceal my previous life associated with modelling,” she said.
“The modern self-sufficient woman has the right to realise herself in her chosen profession, as well as to change the direction of development and growth.”
However, many people have taken issue with this.
Influencer Marina Danilchuk said: “I don’t know what’s better in this story: the naked breasts of the consul on social media or her photo in kokoshniks [Russian headdresses].
“I went to this lady’s social networks and everywhere in one line it says that she is consul and she is a model.
“It’s strange to combine such areas, but, you know, is very rich in talents.
“Among these photos in panties, on my word of honour, in swimsuits, I managed to find official photos that confirm that this lady is indeed now the consul of Ukraine in the Dominican Republic.”
Others have jumped to her defence, including former MP Boryslav Bereza.
However, the parliamentarian did admit “many did not like the new honorary consul of Ukraine in the Dominican [Republic].”
The 37-year-old beauty claims she has received no handouts from the state.
“There is no government funding for this position, so my operations and all associated expenses are my personal contribution and my family’s contribution,” she said.
Yakimova also revealed she has been living in the Dominican Republic since 2014 and had been married to one of its citizens.
The Odesa-born widow later insisted on her loyalty to Ukraine.
“I urge everyone to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and our volunteers. Glory to Ukraine,” she said.
In 2017, Yakimova met the future .
Speaking about her encounter with the then Prince of Wales, she said: “It was an interesting experience; the atmosphere at the palace is incredible, and of course it’s something you remember – something I could never have imagined would happen to me.
“I have so much respect [for him].”
