Wikki Tourists technical adviser, Abdullahi Maikaba, has blamed missed chances for his team’s 1-0 defeat to Warri Wolves.

Ezekiel Oroh’s lone strike gave Warri Wolves the maximum points against Wikki Tourists at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium on Wednesday.

Maikaba believed that the visitors capitalise on the only chance they had in the game.

“We created about ten chances without scoring, while they had just one and made it count,” Maikaba reacted after the game.

Maikaba insisted that the result does not reflect the performance of his team.

Wikki Tourists dropped to 16th position on the NPFL standings following the defeat.

The Bauchi Elephants will travel to Jos to face Plateau United on matchday 21 this weekend.
