Sunshine Stars are firmly focused on maintaining their top-flight status, DAILY POST reports.

The Owena Waves currently occupy 19th position on the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL table.

Sunshine Stars' media officer, Isaac Afolabi, said the team won't give up in their fight against relegation.

“Sure, it was not what we aimed to get from the game against Rivers United, the players were determined only to concede a goal in the 86th minute,” Afolabi told DAILY POST.

“As a team, we are determined to fight till the end of the season, approach the game one after the other.”

Coach Bala Abubakar's side will lock horns with Katsina United this weekend.
