NPFL: Remo Stars rewarded for title success

Remo Stars have been rewarded with the sum of N25 million for winning the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title.

The club’s chairman, Kunle Soname, announced the reward during a ceremony held at the Remo Stars Stadium on Monday.

Midfielder Adedayo Olamilekan received a brand-new car after being named the Sky Blue Stars’ Player of the Season.

Meanwhile, Nigeria National League, NNL, side Beyond Limits were awarded N5 million for their recent victory at the Gothia Cup in Sweden.

Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, side Remo Stars Ladies were also rewarded with N10 million in recognition of their impressive performance last season, which saw them reach the NWFL Super Six playoffs for the first time in the club’s history.

The Sky Blue Stars supporters’ club was similarly acknowledged with a cash award of N2 million.
