Published on May 16, 2025 at 05:09 PM

Remo Stars held a parade in Ikenne on Friday to celebrate their victory in the 2024/25 NPFL season.

The Sky Blue Stars claimed the 2024/25 NPFL title last month following a 1-0 victory over Katsina United.

It was the first title won by the Ikenne-based club.

Daniel Ogunmodede’s side also made history as the first South-West club to win the title in over two decades.

Defunct Julius Berger were the last South-West club to achieve the feat in 2000.

The open-top bus parade, adorned with vibrant decorations, added to the celebratory atmosphere, showcasing the club’s commitment to excellence.

The team moved around Sagamu, Remo North, before arriving at Ikenne.
