Remo Stars head coach Sulaiman Folarin has described forward Victor Mbaoma as a very important player for the reigning Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL champions.
Mbaoma has registered four goals in six matches for the Sky Blue Stars in the NPFL this season.
The 29-year-old forward’s goals helped Remo Stars secure back-to-back wins over Kano Pillars and Barau FC.
Folarin said that the experienced forward is demonstrating his leadership qualities within the team.
“Mbaoma is a very important player for us in the team as we all know he is the captain of our club,” Folarin told Remo Stars media.
“He is a leader and he is showing it for us to see in the team.”
Folarin will be hoping the red-hot striker continues his rich scoring form when Remo Stars face Niger Tornadoes in Minna this weekend.
