NPFL: Oyo FA summons Shooting Stars, journalist over match-fixing allegations

The Oyo State Football Association has summoned Yoruba sports caster and Prince FM 88.7 staff, Shola Ayegbajeje, over his allegations of match fixing against Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars.

Ayegbajeje accused Shooting Stars of match-fixing in the games against Lobi Stars, Katsina United and Remo Stars.

Shooting Stars chairman Babatunde Olaniyan David ‘Akoro’ and Ayegbajeje are to appear before the state football association on Monday, May 5 at the OYSFA Office at Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan by 12 noon.

The summons letter was signed by the OYSFA Secretary, Kehinde Ojelowo.

DAILY POST recalls that Shooting Stars are without a win in their last five NPFL matches.

Shooting Stars occupy 11th position in the NPFL table with 48 points.
