Newly appointed Shooting Stars chairman, Taiwo Salami, has promised to reposition the club.

The Oyo State Government, owners of the club, announced Salami’s appointment on Monday.

Salami takes over from Babatunde Akoro, who managed the affairs of the club for about a year.

The business mogul visited the club’s Jericho office on Tuesday.

He held discussions with members of the management team and inquired about the current situation of the club.

“I am delighted to be here and I want to assure you that there will be massive changes, both within the office and on the field,”; he stated.

Shooting Stars finished in ninth position in the NPFL last season.
