NPFL: Maikaba Reflects on Wikki Tourists' Disappointing Loss to El-Kanemi Warriors

Wikki Tourists' technical advisor, Abdullahi Maikaba, has expressed his disappointment following his team's 2-1 loss to El-Kanemi Warriors during their matchday nine clash.

Emmanuel Jonas and Samaila Bello scored early, giving El-Kanemi Warriors a 2-0 advantage, before Abdullahi Usman managed to score one for Wikki Tourists.

Maikaba believes that his players put forth their best effort despite the loss.

“We performed very well and deserved more from this match,” Maikaba stated after the game.

“I commend my players for their fighting spirit and determination. It’s unfortunate that we couldn't secure at least a point.”
