The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has listed criteria for clubs to secure approval for the stadiums in the 2025/26 season.

The NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi disclosed this in a memo sent to all the clubs.

Owumi stated that a functioning standard LED floodlight and a backup generator for electricity supply is very important.

The NPFL also urged the clubs to make all the infrastructure ready and fully functional before the routine Stadium inspection.

The memo said that failure to meet the requirements may affect the usage of the primary home ground in the upcoming season.

The date for the commencement of the new season is yet to be announced by the league body.
