Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Kun Khalifat FC have announced the signing of Ekebuike James, DAILY POST reports.
Chairman of the club, Michelle Amaefula confirmed the player’s arrival at a brief unveiling ceremony on Monday.
James penned a two-year contract with Kun Khalifat FC.
He joined the Owerri club from Nigeria National League, NNL, side Abeokuta Stormers.
James is expected to shoulder the goal scoring responsibility of the team following the departure of strikers Uche Moses, Ebuka Nwokorie and Henry Ezeonye.
The trio moved to Barau FC at the end of the NPFL first stanza.
They have 11 goals in between them before they make the switch.
