Enyimba head coach Stanley Eguma has declared his team’s readiness for the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday five encounter against Bendel Insurance, DAILY POST reports.

The People’s Elephant will take on insurance in Aba on Sunday.

The nine-time champions currently occupy top spot on the NPFL table with eight points from four games.

A win will see Enyimba extend their lead at the top of the log with second-placed Rivers United on continental duty.

Eguma declared that they will fight to secure maximum points from the game.

“I think we are ready for tomorrow’s game (Sunday), it’s a big match, Enyimba and Insurance are both traditional teams that have represented Nigeria well,” he told NFPL media.

“So far, we are trying to consolidate our position on the log, you know it’s not easy getting to the top spot, every team is trying to work on their team and get that stabilization.”
