‎The management of Bayelsa United has issued a two-game ultimatum to the players and coaches of the team following their disappointing performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Prosperity Boys have achieved only one victory in their last seven matches in the NPFL.

‎The Chairman of the club, Tarilaye Nwankwe, announced the ultimatum during an emergency meeting with the players and coaching staff at the camp in Yenagoa.

Nwankwe emphasized that the management would no longer tolerate such performances moving forward.

“The Bayelsa State Government has made significant investments in the club, and so far, the results have been underwhelming. We cannot continue with this level of performance; the investment must be reflected on the pitch starting this weekend,” Nwankwe stated during the emergency meeting.

‎”This is not a witch-hunt but a sincere and collective effort to ensure that everyone involved with this club embraces our vision of making Bayelsa United one of the top clubs in the country.”
