Nurudeen Aweroro will take charge as new head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, club Shooting Stars, DAILY POST reports.

Aweroro is leaving Ikorodu City to take up the role following the dismissal of Gbenga Ogunbote by the new Shooting Stars’ management this week.

The young tactician guided Ikorodu City to fourth position in their maiden appearance in the NPFL last season.

He took charge of the Oga Boys midway through the season following the sack of Bright Ozebagbe

His assistants have already resumed work at Shooting Stars.

Aweroro will be unveiled by the Oluyole Warriors at the club’s secretariat in Jericho, Ibadan, on Friday.
