Shooting Stars head coach Nurudeen Aweroro has reflected on his side’s Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday two encounter against Bendel Insurance.

The Oluyole Warriors were held to a 1-1 draw by Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, on Saturday.

Shooting Stars are still searching for their first win of the season after losing 1-0 at home to Bayelsa United on matchday one.

Aweroro was delighted to see his side earn a point from the game.

“This was a massive one for us. It was a tough match with tough challenges, but very rewarding,” Aweroro said after the game.

Shooting Stars will face South West rivals Ikorodu City in their next league game.
