A BRITISH pensioner has died after falling from a balcony in an infamous Thai party resort.
The 74-year-old was found in a of blood after plunging from the 10th floor of the D-Beach Hotel in Sin City, Pattaya.



The holidaymaker, from Prestatyn, , was discovered lying face downnext to a busy road on Saturday evening, cops said.
Phanuthat Thanakasemphakin, a Pattaya Special Affairs officer, said he was working nearby when he heard a loud bang “like a transformer explosion”.
He rushed to help the man, but he tragically died moments later.
He said: “I rushed to see what happened and found the elderly foreigner lying face-down in a pool of blood.
“He was gasping for air. I tried to help but he soon died.”
Cops blocked the scene with white cloth as they collected evidence from the area.
Thai are investigating his cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.
Police Lieutenant Manasak Ponyiam of the Pattaya City Police Station said: “We have inspected the scene and collected evidence.
“The deceased had been staying in room 1079 on the tenth floor of this hotel. We checked his room and found no trace of assault or ransacking.
“We also checked the security camera for the entire previous day, which showed no one entering or leaving the room except for the victim until his death.
“We still do not know if it was an accident or suicide.
“The body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for a post-mortem exam. We will question hotel employees to determine the cause of death.”
Keith’s death is among the latest in a string of fatalities involving falls from in this year.
On July 19, an allegedly drunk Russian tourist fell to his death from the roof of a pool villa on holiday island Phuket.
And just a day before, an American tourist died after falling from the 10th floor balcony of a hotel in Chiang Mai.
Meanwhile in June, , had been relaxing around the pool when she walked to the edge and fell late at night.
The holidaymaker “made a misstep” and tumbled down into an alley below, according to witnesses.
Friends rushed to check on her after she disappeared over the side, but she tragically could not be saved.
She was pronounced dead less than an hour after her fall at 3:30am, which inflicted serious “head and chin” injuries.
The FCDO has been approached for comment.
