The Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) has characterized the fuel tanker explosion that resulted in numerous fatalities in the Essa community of Katcha Local Government Area, Niger State, as a profoundly tragic and painful event.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the NSGF Chairman and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, expressed deep sorrow over the incident that took many lives.
