Shooting Stars FC have backed Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Crown FC, to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The management of Shooting Stars expressed believe in the ability of their sister club to pick one of the promotion tickets to the NPFL.
The NNL promotion playoffs will kick-off on Saturday, July 5, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
“With the Super eight kicking off in Asaba this weekend, we are confident that the team will take the same doggedness and determination to the play off and eventually secure one of the tickets to the topflight,”; Shooting Stars stated through the media officer, Tosin Omojola.
“As the team gets ready to battle the trio of Osun United, Warri Wolves and Kun Khalifat, we use this medium to wish the Ajilete Bombers all the best in their pursuit of the NPFL ticket.”;
It would be recalled that Crown FC last played in the NPFL in 2014.
