Nigerians await your liberation – Obidient Movement celebrates Peter Obi at 64

Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, has said Nigerians await the liberation of former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in 2027.

Tanko described Obi as a symbol of hope, integrity and transformational leadership.

He made the remark while celebrating Obi, who will clock 64 on Saturday.

In a statement he signed, Tanko said: “This Saturday, July 19th, 2025, we celebrate not just a man, but a movement, a symbol of hope, integrity, and transformational leadership.

“Happy 64th birthday to His Excellency, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi.

“On behalf of Dr. Yunusa Tanko and the entire Obidient family across Nigeria, and indeed the world we say: Thank you for your unmatched courage in, your selfless service, and your relentless pursuit of a New Nigeria where competence, character, compassion, consistency and capacity lead the way.

“May God continue to preserve you for the destiny that still awaits this nation through your hands.

“Happy Birthday, our leader Mr. Peter Obi, Nigerians are waiting for your liberation in 2027. The journey continues. Obidiently, we march on.”;
