The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that the main online recruitment examination for shortlisted candidates in the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

“The main online recruitment examination for all shortlisted Inspectorate and Customs Assistant Cadre applicants is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025,” the notice stated.
The Service also issued a strong warning that strict adherence to the assigned batch and time is essential, noting that failure to comply could result in disqualification.
“Candidates are strongly discouraged from using calculators, mobile phones, or any other devices during the examination,” it emphasized.
Applicants were also warned against logging in multiple times or switching browser windows during the test, as such actions may hinder their participation.
The Customs Service clarified that this exercise is exclusively for applicants in the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres, while those in the Superintendent cadre will be scheduled for a later phase.
“Only Inspectorate and Customs Assistant Cadre applicants are eligible to participate in this stage of the examination. Applicants from the Superintendent Cadre should not engage in this phase,” the statement concluded.
