“Therefore, I charge you to endure the rigours of training, remain focused, dedicated and disciplined as proper conduct is vital in the performance of duties and responsibilities as a police officer,”; he emphasised.

The Commissioner of Police assured the recruits that their welfare and security are his priorities, and directed the Operations Department to ensure adequate protection of the institution.

He also acknowledged the challenges faced by the school, including water supply issues, and promised to expedite action to address them.

Earlier, the Commandant of PTS Minna, ACP Yunusa Isa Wakili, disclosed that the recruits had completed their basic examinations and would commence intermediate examinations on July 2, 2025.

According to him, the recruits were already three months into their training, which began on April 12, 2025.

He expressed appreciation to the Commissioner of Police for his visit and appealed to him to use his good office to help address some of the school’s persistent challenges.
