Niger State Governor, Umar Bago has commiserated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, over the loss of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

Bago in a condolence message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the death of Mama Lydia as a great loss to all APC members across the country.

He observes that her death came when her wise counsel and prayers, especially for her son, the APC National Chairman, were needed the most.

The governor, however, encouraged Prof Yilwatda to accept the demise of his mother as an act of God that no human being can question or undo.

He also urged him to be consoled by the fact that Mama Lydia lived a good and devoted Christian life, with evidence in the way she nurtured her children, especially the APC National Chairman.

He urged Prof Yilwatda and other members of his immediate and extended family to be inspired by the enduring legacy the deceased has left.

“I sincerely share in your moment of grief; be comforted by the good and impactful life she lived, ” Bago stated

He then prayed for the repose of her soul, and for God to grant all that are affected by her demise the fortitude to bear the loss.
