Top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) arrived in Asaba, Delta State, on Thursday for the burial of Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi’s father, DAILY POST reports.
The delegation was led by the NFF’s Secretary General, Mohammed Sanusi.
Also on the delegation were the NFF’s Director of Media and Communications, Ademola Olajire, and Executive Committee Member Nse Essien.
Sanusi presented a formal letter of condolence to Ndidi.
Sunday Ndidi tragically passed away after he was hit by a car in the town of Umunede, near Agbor, Delta State, late last month.
He will be laid to rest on Friday.
