NEWCASTLE star Harvey Barnes has not dismissed the possibility of switching his nationality from England to Scotland.
At 27, he has already earned one cap with the Three Lions, which occurred back in 2020 during an international friendly against Wales.

According to FIFA regulations, Barnes can switch allegiances since there is a gap of more than three years between his last appearance and the Tartan Army's next match.

“It was fantastic to see them win and advance last night; it was an incredible match, and I’m sure everyone in Scotland enjoyed it.
“Is it closed off? No, certainly not.
“I’ve played for England, and I understand the eligibility aspect is still valid, so it’s difficult to say definitively, but there haven’t been any substantial conversations or progress in that area.”
