A new Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Dankombo Morris, has assumed duty as the 44th AIG in charge of Zone 4 Headquarters, Makurdi.
Dankombo, a native of Kaltungo Local Government Area, Gombe State, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Maiduguri and a Master’s degree in International Relations.
He joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1992 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and has consistently advanced through the ranks due to his dedication and exceptional service.
He has held several command positions and undertaken numerous responsibilities throughout his distinguished career. His current position of AIG in charge of Zone 4 Headquarters in Makurdi, encompasses Benue, Nasarawa, and Plateau states.
According to a statement by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ayo Martins, “the AIG encourages the citizens of Benue, Nasarawa, and Plateau states to uphold the law and continue to provide the Zone with timely and accurate information to facilitate prompt and decisive action against all forms of crime and criminality.”
