A WOMAN has been left creeped out after spotting her neighbour had a camera facing her home.

However, she soon found out that the were not for her and were watching somebody else.

Taking to , the young woman revealed that she and her boyfriend had just moved into an apartment together when she parked outside the flat to move some bags inside.

While there, she was informed by another neighbour that it was a paid parking spot and she’d have to move shortly.

She added: “Our next-door came and knocked on our door to let us know I had to move my car soon since the person who pays for that spot would be home soon.

“She was super nice and I let her know that I would move within the next few minutes, I just had to bring my stuff in.”

But a few days later, she came home to find a note that was left under their door addressed to her boyfriend.

The note read: “I have my camera in my window not to creep you out.

“We’ve been having ongoing problems with the maintenance guy, keep your girl away from him!”

While she didn’t have a problem with the camera facing their , she wasn’t thrilled by the ‘unsettling note’.

Now, she was left wondering what the apartment employee could have done wrong and if it was safe for her.

She revealed she would also be getting a camera for their bedroom and plans to be there anytime maintenance needs to be done.

The post was shared on the SubReddit Apartmentliving and quickly went viral.

Many took to the comments section to share their thoughts and offer advice.

One person wrote: “Believe her and get the scoop when you have time. Signed a girl who was stalked and harassed by a maintenance man.”

Another commented: “They’re trying to tell you the guy is a creep to women, absolutely. He won’t try to pull anything with the bf which is why it’s worded this way.”

“Personally, I’d ask them what the issue with the maintenance man was next time I run into them. I’d want to hear the story,” penned a third.

“You should probably at least get a front door camera,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Probably a good place to start is to stay away from the maintenance man.”
