Natasha arrives court as judge hears Akpabio’s contempt claims

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, onTuesday, arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja ahead of the hearing of the claim by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, that the lawmaker recently flouted the court order.

Justice Binta Nyako had, onMonday, fixedtoday, Tuesday for the hearing of the contempt claim by the Senate president against Akpoti-Uduaghan.

At the resumed hearing on Monday, Senator Natasha’s legal team, led by Jibrin Okutekpa, told the court that the matter was slated for hearing as previously adjourned.

According to him, the court had asked parties in the suit to file relevant documents, which they had done, and that they were ready to proceed.
