Naira Rises for the Third Straight Time Against the US Dollar

The Naira experienced its third consecutive appreciation against the United States dollar this week on Wednesday.

Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria indicated that the Naira strengthened slightly to N1,463.44 against the dollar on Wednesday, up from N1,463.45 exchanged on Tuesday.

This signifies that, on a day-to-day basis, the Naira appreciated by N0.01.

Nevertheless, over the past three days, the country's currency has gained N11.91 per dollar compared to the exchange rate last Friday, 17th October 2025.

In the parallel foreign exchange market, the Naira remained stable at N1,500 per dollar on Wednesday, the same rate as on Tuesday, as confirmed by Abubakar Alhasan to DAILY POST.

According to DAILY POST, Nigeria's external reserves were reported to be $42.79 billion as of 20th October 2025.

It is worth noting that this occurred on Tuesday.
